What a fantastic night of footy! Over 100 customers and staff attended our State of Origin 2025 Game 2 rugby league event in the Mitchell ACT Showroom this month. It was a slippery, wet, and wild game in Perth, with Queensland emerging victorious over New South Wales. While it wasn’t the outcome we NSW fans hoped for, it was an exciting match nonetheless.
Guests enjoyed watching the game streamed live on a massive 5x3mtr screen while enjoying cold beers and a large smoked meat grazing table with 12-hour smoked brisket, pulled pork, smoked sausage and smoked pork ribs, served by local meat smoker experts, The Meat Wizards. It was the perfect hearty spread for a footy night!
Attendees also received Blues beanies, which were a big hit on this chilly Canberra evening. The major try-scorers prize winner was Stan Liakos - REP Building, he’s now the proud new owner of an AKAI 40” Full HD Smart TV! A huge thank you to all the ACT team members who contributed to making the event a success. Additionally, we would like to thank our supplier partners: Ilve, Caroma and Stiebel Eltron.
