Our HNC Somersby team enjoyed an awesome Friday night at McDonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle on August 8th. Our Central Coast reps Jackie Jackson and Karen Cooper gathered in their corporate suite sponsored by Caroma and Fisher & Paykel to cheer on the Newcastle Knights as they took on the Penrith Panthers in Round 23 of the NRL rugby league competition.
Thanks to Matthew Buckley from Fisher & Paykel and Tim Graham of Caroma for all their support! We were thrilled to have guests from GWH, Coverite Projects, Plan Manage Construct and Mars Building join us.
The atmosphere was fantastic with the evening starting off with a smoking ceremony and Welcome to Country on Awabakal land. All guests had a wonderful night with a fantastic crew. Even though the wet weather kicked in, over 20,000 sports fans watched as the local Newcastle Knights were defeated by the reigning premiers, going down with a score of 12-48.
