Harvey Norman Commercial Solar successfully delivered the largest single-roof solar installation within the Harvey Norman property portfolio nationwide. This milestone project supplies renewable energy to multiple Harvey Norman brands: Harvey Norman, Joyce Mayne, and Domayne — as well as the Centre’s shared facilities, including the ground and first-floor mall areas, car park, and loading docks. The integration of solar infrastructure has resulted in significant operational savings, with reduced energy costs benefiting all tenants through lower common area charges. The system will generate approximately 1.8million kilowatt-hours of clean energy each year, helping to reduce the reliance on grid electricity and lower the overall energy costs. This initiative represents a major advancement in sustainability for the Maroochydore Homemaker Centre and reinforces Harvey Norman’s commitment to environmentally responsible development.
