We had the pleasure of taking our customers to see the biggest and most successful metal band in history, METALLICA, for their 72 Seasons World Tour at Accor Stadium. Wow, what a concert! The support bands were Suicidal Tendencies and Evanescence, these two bands were loud, but Metallica was next level, everyone’s ears were still ringing two days later.
Formed in 1981, the oldest member, James Hetfield, is 62 and he’s still got it. The band pumped out some of their best known tunes, like ‘Unforgiven’, ‘Wherever I May Roam’, ‘Nothing Else Matters’ and of course, ‘Enter Sandman’ in front of more than 70,000 fans. It had been 12 years since Metallica last performed in Australia, and the wait was definitely worth it. It was incredible.
