VIP Whisky Masterclass going down smoothly

On Friday 29th August, we hosted an exclusive Whisky Night for 25 of our top customers, proudly sponsored by Smeg. The evening kicked off in style with perfectly crafted Old Fashioned cocktails by Whisky Pete, complete with our impressive HNCD ice stamp and aromatic wood smoking – setting the tone for a night to remember.
Guests were then treated to a whisky masterclass, sampling three premium whiskies that showcased depth, character, and craftsmanship. To complement the experience, a hearty tomahawk steak dinner was enjoyed by all, before the night moved into an exciting night of poker.
The stakes were high, with the winner Anthony Jabour from Scion Builders walking away with an extraordinary prize – a bottle of Suntory 1981 Kioke Shikomi (Hakushu / Yamazaki 24 Year), valued at $2,700 which he kindly shared with the group at the end of the night. A few guests also brought along special bottles from their own collections to share, adding to the atmosphere and appreciation. To top it off, Cuban cigars were enjoyed throughout the evening, providing the perfect finishing touch.
