On this week’s Vlog, we made the 9 hour journey to one of the world’s most technological hubs- Hong Kong.
We were lucky enough to have been invited to Hong Kong by Schneider Electric as one of their EcoXpert Lighting & Room control business partner’s to attend both the innovation talk and the global innovation summit.
Schneider Electric invited Global leaders from around the world to come together for the unveiling of their brand new platform ‘EcoStruxure’.
EcoStruxure is the open, interoperable, IoT-enabled system architecture & platform. It delivers enhanced value around safety, reliability, efficiency, sustainability & connectivity. It also leverages advancements in IoT, mobility, sensing, cloud, analytics and cybersecurity to deliver innovation at every level.
EcoStruxure has been deployed in just under half a million installations with the support of 9,000 system integrators, connecting over 1 Billion devices around the world.
In this Vlog, Kris Leffler demonstrates how quick and effective the use of IoT devices/ systems can control things like lighting from the other side of the world. This is a perfect example of how everything can be connected from answering your home’s intercom to switching your alarm on from any place on Earth.
